Sunday, February 28, 2021 is the 21St International Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) Awareness Day. The first RSI Awareness Day (February 29, 2000), was selected because it was the only non-repetitive date of the year. The day is recognized on the 28th in non-leap years.

RSI Day is about raising awareness and the need for action promoting prevention, rehabilitation and compensation.  With rapidly changing work, health and safety regulation has not always kept up with the pace of change in certain sectors of the economy, leaving workers at risk of injury.  As union activists and health and safety advocates, Unifor members are on the front lines of pushing for better, safer work environments
